back to sleep.

Dr. Abdul-Karim al-Eryani, President’s Political Advisor, Secretary General of People’s General Congress (Ruling Party) denied that Sa’adah war is set aiming at the Zaidi sect, calling it a “satanic insurgency fueled from outside Yemeni heritage and history.”

Concerning religious schools, al-Eryani said he is against shutting them but confirmed that they should be within Yemeni social, religious and historical fabric.

Al-Sahwa net- Some 773 million were purloined by the ministry of culture’s officials in the year 2003, a recent parliamentary report, issued by the Parliament’s media and culture committee, revealed.
The report showed that the bulk of such big money sums were embezzled by officials using forged documents.
It demanded that those responsible be referred to public prosecution for questioning.
On the other hand, another report, released by the same committee, unveiled other graft cases at both the 14th October institution and the media documentation center.
The defalcated sums were estimated at YR 170 million, according to the report.
The committee’s report finally urged that the public prosecution launch urgent investigations into such defalcations.

Hood condemns murder of citizen
Al-Sahwa net-The National Organization for the Defense of Rights and Freedoms (Hood) condemned on Thursday the murder of the Yemeni citizen Mujahid Al-Samhi at the hands of Sana’a municipality soldiers as an atrocious crime against humanity.
Hood charged, in its memo addressed to Sana’a mayor, that the municipality soldiers were committing heinous massacres against the innocent citizens, who roamed the main cities’ streets to eke out their livings.
It said that the murder was in no way different from the Israeli genocides perpetrated against the Palestinian people.
On Monday, Al-Samhi succumbed to gunshot wounds sustained during the municipality soldiers’ savage shooting at a number of vendors downtown Sana’a.
