This is a translation of an interview with Intissar al-Sayani, a woman currently on trial in Yemen for terrorism and supporting the Houthi rebellion. In the interview, she says her confession was coerced. ( This al-Jazeera article says she was in the court room chanting Death to America with all the other lovely people. This AN article and also this MEOL article say she was not present in the court and is being tried in absensia because she is pregnant.)

intsar says at 10 or 10 .30 pm may 3 , she was in her apartment
which is two seperate section seperated by a door , her husband hani was in the guest room in the other section and she was in the family section , suddenly the door of the apartment was opened they had keys with them , they started inspection of the apartment i did not what was going on. she took her coat and her vail quickly and went to the bed room. she was hearing them looking for and inspecting the apartment i did not know what they were looking for. some times i could not hear any thing as if thewre was no body in the apartment.

at 12 oclock on the same day they came with a female police officer and
six men they said they were going to take her to the nieghborhod chief
house of her fathers house . theyt took me to chief house at 1.30 am they took her alone she asked them to let that police women come with her but they did not let that. they took her in white car to aljiraf where her fathers house is inthe house of the nieghboorhod chief . she stayed there until 4 pm the next day then they started interrogation . they
interrogated her from 4 pm to 12 midnight without stop . she was
frightened specialy when they refused to let her call her family. they
quistioned her about strange thing, arms , being a member of gang planing for some thing i do not know.

at 12 mid night after the first interrogation which lasted eight
coninious hours they took her to another house with a female police officers she was arrested there. they were too tough on her.
they always threatened her. they threatened that if she would not confess to them they would take her to the prison to stay with prostitutes, where they would take her every night to police officers to do with her. and that her reputation would be very bad. and that all people would talk about her. she says that those security officers threatend her many times.

they asked her to confess to doing thing she never did to remember names of weapons that she never knew or to talk about person that she never heared of . they told her to imagin thing and talk about.

they would interrogate her and then take the papers to the big boss in
the political security agency and then come back , i she heared them talk that the boss was not satisfied , and that they would do interrogate her again and get her stamp with her fingers on the written interrogation
she was very tired so she let the officer who was quistioning her
change whatever he wanted and went to the room and closed the door and slept. at 2.30 pm the other day they woke her up to sign and stamp with her fingers on the new modefied and changed interrogation paper. she asked them to let her read what was in those papers but they told herthat they did not have time

and the big boss was waiting. the female police took my fingers and
stamped those papers as she sayed she cried only at one time when they threatened to kill her young brother ibrahim 12 years, who is cribbled. she was sure that she did not do any thing wrong .

she did not undress her coat and vail because she was very afraid that
they would do any thing to her. because she found out that they would do any thing

when they bring food for her and female police officers she was very
suspecious and would not eat or drink from any thing unless those female police officers did start eating or drinking from food or drink
for eight days she would not sleep as normal but as tired and dizzy

i was astonished to see saeed al aqeel head of attorny general office
at the special court sitting with political security investigator when
she was taken to special court . the political security officer who made interrogation with intisar befor was expressing threats to intisar she could understand that in his face expressions. he used to write some notes and give them to saeed al aqil after al aqil read that note he would ask her or or dectate the person who is writing the investgation

saed al aqil did not tell me that i can have a lowyer or there was a
lowyer. all the quistions she was asked were the same about weapons about some peole but she said at the end that she has no relation or knowledge of people or weapons

and that she is innocent . and she was treated unjustly . they asked
her who did unjust to her she answered just leave that because they
knew who they threatened her in political security that if she would not confess to all things they ask, she would stay in that house with the female police officers forever

intisar works as a koran teacher in a small mosgue near her fathers house , she teaches young femals koran . she is in a contract with islamic affair ministry for seven thousand rial a month

canceled. the minister canceled the contract
