“European Parliament and the US Congress are quite interested in hearing about certain developments in Yemen especially those related to coming presidential elections , or the violation of laws in cases like Oman Desert Company, the Aden Free Zone conflict of interests, and other corruption issues on the ground..”

“Yemeni opposition have a comprehensive reform program that can be a starting point to form a true democracy after performing political, social , and economic reforms, and elimination of corruption.

“We are determined to build a new Yemen without Marshals..

“Democracy should be established away from the military..”

“We seek political change through peaceful means; i.e. through free elections.

The US Congress? That’s encouraging. This group is a viable alternative to both Saleh and Zindani with a platform in line with Western interests, and critically, with a focus on the long term and immediate well being of the Yemeni people.

Somehow related: According to that success, Dr. Al-Dahiri said that the Islah Party was able to penetrate throughout the country. This is, in his point of view, a movement structure. Thus he believes that the Islah is an extension of Muslims Brotherhood in Egypt.
