For Yemeni Coastguard to Monitor the Coast.

The project is about 24 million. Yemeni officials say they need more than $700 million to ensure complete control over the country’s 1600 mile coastline.

I can’t even comment. I’m burnt out.

What a collosal waste of funds. It only goes to prove that most of the world’s problems come from bad governance.

Yes, I know what you mean – it should have went to a US company – bad governance by the US government, after all it spends about a third of $450 billion in the region whre Yemeni is! Shocking!

Its not as if there was a huge force of violent foreigners in the area who have already invaded two other countries in west Asia illegally and caused the deaths of 100,000s never mind everything else they have put the rest of the inhabitants of the region through!

corruption in Yemen
The question that should be asked is: how much of this money will actually be spend in the project? Most likely about 45% and its like other projects in Yemen and you have to find out where the rest of the money goes !. I understand that corruption is everywhere but yet surprisingly it generally accepted by high officials in the government and they don’t have carriage to stop it because money is very greedy.
