President of Yemen to Visit White House
Saleh, Bush will discuss range of bilateral issues November 10

In a November 5 statement, the White House announced that President Bush will welcome President Ali Abdullah Saleh of Yemen to the White House on November 10.

Visit by Yemeni President Saleh

The President will welcome President Ali Abdullah Saleh of the Republic of Yemen to the White House on November 10. The two leaders will discuss a range of bilateral issues, including the President’s Freedom Agenda and cooperation on the war on terrorism.

There’s an awful lot about Yemen on this site. Shouldn’t there be some posts about Valerie Whozzit? Also, Paris is burning, & I’m terribly worried about the Widow Arafat

Its not easy to be this hated. I have to work at it every day.

Nice to see you Jeff, how’s your man in Tripoli? There was a day of rage against Italy recently but no one knew about it because the phones were down. I’m sure the Italians were properly abashed by the lack of long distance service.

And its *only* the suburbs that are burning. Let’s not over react, mon cherie.

The widow Arafat, well thats a story for another day.

Jeff darling, the Yemeni regime is notoriously low tech. They are using a type of chemical weapons everyone else gave up on in 1918. They are more likely to hit me with an umbrella than stab me with a poisen one. The favored method is hit and runs. Splat. This is their style. I cross at the green not in between.
