i live in austrlia so what ever the americans do we do you know i walk down the streets and i see many races i see abos(natives which is me even though my skin is white) asians many more i have no problem with them none at all i have problems with the ones that move to our country and demand laws to change becuase it doesnt suit there race there colour you know they moved to our country were we are happy with the laws maybe you should just go back to your own country

Oh puhleeze, I’m not for Ali Saleh, I don’t support him, but certainly he isn’t among the worst. Why don’t you all look under your noses, the people in Mexico and Cuba, etc. live under extreme oppression and poverty. Don’t worry about us Yemenis, we don’t want any of your American redneck flag-waving “armies of liberation” to turn their asses back. We see your work in Iraq, your idea of liberation is simply a disguise. You have turned Iraq into one mess, don’t even think about beating the war drum for Yemen. Ali Saleh may be an illness for Yemenis, but he is nothing compared to the cancer of Yankee liberation. Stay the hell out of our business.

Amazing. The US is engaged in a global war, similar to the cold war. Right now the fighting is going on in Iraq, but there is also some movement going on in other countries, most notably Saudi Arabia and Jordan, since the bombings. I hope that the US is covertly helping to ultimately bring about peaceful regime change in all of the ME nations, and is successful. I especially hope for Yemen to become a nation where ideas can be expressed freely, without oppression. Please know that the US people want this for the people of Yemen, though our government has to have a diplomatic and trade relationship with the corrupt Yemeni government. Time will tell.

Sissy you know the articles get some publicity but its really the blogosphere that carries the message, and the support of you, the Cotillion and lots of other people have really made an impact in breaking down the wall of propaganda and censorship that was hiding the urgent plight of the Yemeni people.

You know who just let me in was David, and its nice that there is bypartisan support for the Yemeni people and their rights. So thats now about 7 where I can CP. Its funny, I can lanch myself now. But this with OSM and Glenn is big. (But why are they calling me “female” blogger, just to say.)
