Revealing the corruption of the regime and defending the peoples’ right is called ” a betrayal of the country and its people”. The opposition in Yemen is simply the people who call for freedom of South Yemen and specially Hadramout area from the existing regime. I don’t recall any opposition outside calling for freedom and democracy rather than the south Yemen nation and I challenge on that. A famous website called hadramout really made Yemen government fear from the growing voices and demands to free the south and hadramout from the occupation. In the other hand, in the same website I noticed many writers who back up Yemen government continuously trying to defend Yemen government politics and all the time try to make Ali saleh as the mighty and genius leader in the middle east. This news of forming this organization is to mitigate the risk of Yemen breakup and loosing the south Yemen which in turn will make the northern Yemen loose lands, oil and sea fish (great source of money).

From this site I call and call again and again the united nation to listen to the south Yemen people who suffer from being occupied their lands in the name of false unity to help and support us to have our lands back and our identity which they (north Yemen) try to vanish. Listen to us and let us decide our own life and way to live. As the existing occupied government to make vote for the unity on 94 unity war by force and we have the right to vote on it if yes or no. we were not given the chance to say that on 90.

So what can they do to the external opposition, target their morality, their families? Its really astounding how much free speech threatens the Yemeni regime when the essence of democracy is dialog.

The regime isn’t satisfied with silencing opposition inside Yemen, it’s now targeting the voices of those who had to flee Yemen to speak their minds. Terror of the state is the case at hand.

The regime in Yemen is identical to that of Saddam’s – a police-state, you don’t disagree and if you do….? hushhh!!!
