SALAM JANE,
I need a full psychological support from you and all the good friends inside and out side, many in my country needs it as ibelieve, when are we going to make our way from this dreadfull nightmare? All things are standstill, nobody except one ignorant lunatic non-educated killer sosdier is making all the desisions in my country. three qurters of the budget is alloted for him and his security and the other quarter is for hisbrothers and the general public in the ratio of 10:1 please help all of us just at least psychologically.

u know who I ran into today ,well I found one Iraqi friend of mine ,with his little tiny sister ,she was there silent very hurt ,miserable and heartbreaking ,she was shouted and lost her leg and also her eye looking at the kids how happily they were playing around which she can not do like them ,god knows wht feeling i had, well ,I did not know wht to tell my friend ,and I was thinking if this s the way I feel how about her parents ,and then I thought abt the disasters and calamities that happened to 200,000 not 35,000 innocents Iraqis ,kids moms dads youth ,etc ,and I knew that the new way we get news really is far up from picturing to us the real image with all its sorrows ,and horrors ,we r really not human as we may think i felt it today when I saw this little kid with my eyes , ,we r not affected the way we should ,
and now u come to tell Yemenis ,u r so worried ,,believe me ur monk in the white house ,that terrorist really screwing the world order ,,don’t worry about us ,,do worry about the families the friends of 200,000

Traitors or Zionists or whatever you want to label us, we care for Yemen. We will speak the truth about Yemen whether you like it or not.

Yemen if you can’t already see is destined to catastrophe. There is shortage of water, electricity, schools, medicine, jobs, equality, and democracy.

The oil is almost finished without the country smelling a sniff of it. Where did all the oil revenue go? Someone ask Saleh? May be he gets to keep it all because he’s a hero!!!!!??

There are illiterate people, there is no civil society, there is so much bribery and corruption, nothing can be done except through connections reaching all the way up to Saleh.

Arms and weapons are out of control in the country, there is illegal trade of arms, drugs, and children to other parts of Middle-East People are living in poverty. Brothers and sisters borrow the same school unifrom from one another because their families can’t afford to buy a seperate uniform for each one. Young teenage girls have to sell themselves in order to support their families.

Historic agricultural revenues are on the decline. The once famous and booming Yemen trade of coffee and cotton has now subsided. The useless narcotic ‘Qat’ plant is now grown by farmers and others who need the money. With a shortage of water for people and drying and eroding land, a once fertile soil is being harvested with Qat.

The economy is shrinking annually. There is no productivity and the value of the Yemen Riyal currency is endlessly dropping. Yet Saleh still maintains 40% of the budget for military expenditure!!!!! This expenditure is not even controlled or verified by the parliament. Saleh, his son, his brothers, and nephew can spend without account to anyone!!!

With all this taking place, leading international organizations and institutions have cautioned Yemen. The IMF, World Bank, the US and Canada have alerted Yemen of reduction of aid should corruption, non-transparency and lack of accountability continue.

Finally, yes it’s true that there are tragedies in Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine, Lebanon, Sudan, Somalia, Ethopia, and many, many other places of the world.

However for me as a Yemeni, for those concerned with Yemen’s future, this site is a platform to bring awareness to the catastrophe Yemen is definately heading towards unless significant reforms take place.

For those interested in discussing Zionism, the Palestinian dilemma, and the tragedies in Iraq and elsewhere, I am sure there are means of expressing oneself differently and in other venues.

Moreover, if one is that extremely concerned about Iraq, then please support the Iraqis through funds, or take-up a charity or a UN role and go help in person.

Ok ,but you did not say a word, or filter out to input ur say ambiguously as either we have the right in Jerusalem or not ,,how many words u have written on the regime , how many times u implied and said clearly they r criminal ,wicked ,crooking, thieves, they behave illicitly ,unlawfully etc ,etc ..etc etc

declining economy
trade imbalance
budget defecit
loss of foreign aid
increasing military expenditure
lack of infrastructure
lack of schools and hospitals
deteriorating public services
increasing illiteracy rate
shortage of medicine and vaccination
shortage of hospital staff and equipment
increase of corruption and bribery
wide-spread arms and weapons smuggling
abuses of the political security
Yemen’s declining rating as one of the world’s impoverished nations
Yemen’s rating as one of the world’s most untransparent systems of government
shortages of water and electricity
lack of resources to fund farmers for irrigation and export crops
abuses on journalists
growing number of Yemenis migrating and in exile abroad

These are facts and facts speek for themselves. You can sing for Saleh but it’s a song out of tune.
