US Air Force’s Witcomb visits Yemen
Sana’a, June 28, (BNA) Yemeni Minister of Defence, Major General, Mohammed Nasser Ahmed, received here today Commander of US Army Forces Central Command Lieutenant General Steven Witcomb, and reviewed with him prospects of bilateral cooperation in the military field mainly in training, rehabilitation and war on terror.
Yemen News Agency (SABA) said the US Commander hailed the high standard of US-Yemen cooperation, expressing his country’s readiness to help in training the Yemeni military personnel and upgrading their skills in fighting terrorism as well as in preserving security in the Red Sea and African Horn regions.
Maybe Yemen can find a purpose for all those Mig29’s purchased from Russia.
