Saleh Not an Umbrella for the Corrupt Any More
MAREB, Sep 03 (Saba)- The presidential candidate for the General People’s Congress, Ali Abdullah Saleh held an election rally here on Sunday.
Saleh commenced his speech with thanking to sheiks, scholars, youth, educated, politicians in Marib for ” their positive role to fight the devastators in this region, we will not forget the gorgeous stance of Marib Governorate when its youth rushed with all their potentials to defend the Unification in the war of 1994 summer” Saleh said.
Saleh said that we have dreamt of reunifying Yemen “thank for Allah, with all the Honest men support the unification took place in May 22″ saying that after the unification we started the development process.
” Thank for this country, the region of the oil and gas discovering, the comprehensive development throughout the country occurred” Saleh said.
Saleh said that his future duties would be to fight poverty and to take care of youth in all the areas ” our responsibilities are to fight poverty,to strengthen the judiciary and to root out the corruption and corrupters who come from anywhere and any a political parties” sale said.
“I will not be an umbrella for corruption any more in any of the government authorities” Saleh stated, affirming that he would fight the corruptsin the same way of fighting those who supported the separation in 1994.
Saleh concluded his speech by greeting the audience and thanking them for reception.
