USAID finds Youth Programs 3.1 mil
USAID grants $ 3.1 mln to develop capacities of youths in Yemen

SANA’A, Sep. 15 (Saba)- Yemen and United Stated Agency for International Development USAID signed on Monday an agreement of grant at sum of $ 3.1 million, which would be used by Social Fund for Development and Al-Saleh Corporation for Vocational Training and other training centers.
Under the agreement, the United Stated would grant the sum to fund training programs in order to develop capacities of youths to enable them finding jobs.
The agreement was signed by Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Abdul-Kareem al-Arhabi and US ambassador to Sana’a Stephen Seche.
The sum would be used also to support small enterprises in al-Dali, Lahj, Aden and Abyan.Al-Arhabi expressed appreciation of the Yemeni government for the US support to enhance efforts of the government to reduce poverty and creating jobs for youths.
He said that the United States is a key partners for the development process in Yemen, wishing further progress for the cooperation between the two countries.
For his part, Seche said that his country concerns to continue presenting assistance for your and boost efforts of the Yemen to face challenges of the economic development.
