Statement of Naser al Nuba, Head of the Southern Yemeni Military Retired
The statement issued by Al Nuba doesn’t name Baoum or address Friday’s statement directly, but that’s what it is in response to:
Nowadays,in our beloved south, we need to close ranks in accordance with the obvious vision and define a clear road map and chart the paths of the future, bearing in mind the sacrifices of the martyrs who lost their lives for the triumph of right and freedom of the South and seeking for justice and equality.
In order to fly the banner of pride and dignity to the southern sky for future generations to enjoy security, stability and well-off.
For this we have to bow our heads in tribute to the tireless efforts and sacrifices of those beautiful lives that have fallen from the South as well as to applaud the peaceful revolution of the people of the South and we call upon all the honorable members of the national Southern Liberals struggle to rise to the level of sacrifice and that we have a responsibility to answer the question which is still being posed by a lot of southern people: I wonder about which south we are going to agree on?!.
Therefore, we say to them, away from the narcissism of self-love and guardianship, we agree on the south of martyrs , wounded ,prisoners and of all freedom fighters of the peaceful revolution of blessed South.
we want a South of all Liberal southerns and all different backgrounds from the sixties till up to date ,we want a regime based on democracy and respect for human rights and the peaceful exchange of power.
South of each of his sons would be to obtain all rights equally and where the individual is a southern without any other considerations, and this is the south, which we want. We have to take lessons from the past , otherwise we will be in their disorientation and loss.
For this , we do not allow anyone who impede our will and ignore our conviction which is ,of course, a conviction of all southerns.
It is an illusion if people think that what we are doing is our personal conviction.Finally, we say that we are in the supreme national authority for the independence of the South has a relationship with all other bodies and this relationship is based on equality and respect for what we have reached agreements and common denominatorsز
Our (SNAIS) is the only entity authorized to speak on behalf of and dialogue with any other party and We are not bound by any agreements or positions from one side or the other without knowing, or lacked the authority to speak on behalf of (SNAIS).
We are not responsible for others, but they are entitled to form any other components or boards .
We are still sticking to our position on the Front coalition, and our belief in respect for what we have achieved with others, which was the result of a long and arduous.
