Not exactly, I seem to recall tensions between Qadaffi and Saleh that date back many years. Libya was trying to lead efforts toward reconciliation between the north and south following the war. Qaddaffi actually paid for homes to be built in the north for southern leaders to build unity. After the unity over 150 promienent leaders and political figures were assassinated. Almost immediatly following this agreement leaders died in "car accidents", "food posioning" and other bizzare excuses in Sanaa.

Qaddaffi reassured the Southern People that they would have a fair unity. He felt betrayed by Saleh because he promised the southern leaders, he said "I give you my word, you will be safe" It was a slap in the face to Qaddaffi and he was furious that his efforts were for nothing. Saleh made him look like a liar, and you know disputes have lasting consequences.Arab leaders of course love to fight and squable amongst themselves, over many things including personal disputes....

But your probably right in your assertion that interference from outside of the country are overstated. I mean they say the houthi rebels use Israeli weapons. They Irani Shia for backing houthis, they blame the emirates for helping the south. They blame Libya and now Qatar, Ethiopia, somalia,India etc. etc. WHEN THE PROBLEM IS SALHE HIMSELF! He is the SOLE PROBLEM, ALL THE PROBLEMS ARE FROM INSIDE. CORRUPTION IS LIKE A MOLD ON A PEICE OF MEAT, YOU CAN'T FIX OR CURE IT, YOU HAVE TO HAVE IT REMOVED. DO THEY ACTUALLY THINK,HE CAN REFROM HIMSELF?THAT HE CAN FIGHT CORRUPTION WHEN HE'S THE PROBLEM?
