More Journalists in Jail:Faoud Rashid and Iyad Ghanem
It never ends. You can’t change reality arresting the journalists who report the news. The Yemeni Journalists Syndicate stopped advocating for jouranalists since the last YJS election.
Referred the political security file colleague Fouad Rashid, editor of Al-Mukalla Press on behalf of the state security, Rashid was arrested on 5 – May forum Alkhisp cultural Mukalla and deposited the Political Security Prison in Al-Mukalla and Sana’a, transfer to 23.6.2009 and since his relatives were allowed to Sanaa yesterday 2/9/2009 visit did not allow non-relatives, journalists and activists to visit him or visit the rest of the detainees at the disposal of mobility in the southern governorates
On the same level appealed to the family of our colleague Iyad Ghanem, who has been in prison since the patience of the province of pilgrimage 1/7/2009
Journalists Union and international human rights organizations and local action for the release of their child who is suffering from inflammation of the stomach and kidney stones in the pasture to prevent prison director patient screening and transfer to hospital, It was a work colleague Iyad collaborator with al-Ayyam newspaper and a student at the University of Aden third year of the Media “Press” McCann had been arrested during filming a peaceful march on 1.7.2009 in the crash demanding the release of those arrested for mobility.

احال الامن السياسي ملف الزميل فؤاد راشد رئيس تحرير المكلا برس الى نيابة امن الدولة , واعتقل راشد يوم 5- مايو من منتدى الخيصة الثقافي بالمكلا وتم ايداعه سجن الامن السياسي في المكلا ونقل الى صنعاء في23-6-2009م ومنذ نقله الى صنعاء سمح لاقاربه يوم أمس 2-9-2009م بزيارته ولم يسمح لغير اقاربه من الصحفيين والناشطين بزيارته او زيارة بقية المعتقلين على ذمة الحراك في محافظات الجنوب
على نفس الصعيد ناشدت اسرة الزميل إياد غانم الذي يقبع في سجن صبر بمحافظة لحج منذ1-7-2009م نقابة الصحفيين ومنظمات حقوق الانسان الدولية والمحلية العمل على اطلاق سراح ولدهم الذي يعاني من التهابات في المعدة وحصوات في الكلا منع مدير سجن صبر معاينته ونقله الى المستشفى , وكان الزميل اياد وهو يعمل متعاون مع صحيفة الايام وطالب في جامعة عدن سنة ثالثة كلية الاعلام “صحافة” قد اعتقل اثناء ماكان يقوم بتصوير مسيرة سلمية يوم1-7-2009م في كرش تطالب بإطلاق سراح المعتقلين على ذمة الحراك.
وحوكم بمحكمة القبيطة في جلسة واحدة وصدر الحكم في الجلسة الثانية 23-7-2009م بسجنه لمدة عام وستة اشهر
ووجهت له تهمة ترديد شعارات وحمل لافتات تمس الوحدة والاشتراك في مسيرة غير مرخص لها
وحرم اياد من دخول اختبارات السنة الثالثة
