More Bani Hushaish Death Sentences

Yemen sentenced on Tuesday four subversives to death and eleven others to 5-15 years in prison, a ruling that comes within a series of verdicts against armed groups that fought the troops in support for the Houthi insurgents last year.
The group was convicted of forming an armed gang that fought the army in the Bani Hushaish district northeast Sana’a when the battles between the army and the insurgents stretched to the area in mid 2008.
This month, Yemen handed down death sentences against 12 subversives and sentenced 15 others to jail terms ranging from 8 to 15 years.
In July, Yemen sentenced 10 Houthi supporters to death and 11 to jail terms.
The sentenced were convicted of forming armed gangs and
fighting the troops in support for the insurgents.They were also convicted of attacking the people and looting their properties
