Update, more on Morocco in English from ANHRI: The Arabic Network for Human Rights Information said today, that the upholding of the court of appeal in Casablanca of the ruling against the Moroccan -already detained- human rights activist, Chakib AlKhayari of 3 years in prison and a fine of 753,000 dirhams (nearly$ 90,000) for allegedly insulting official government bodies, and violating laws of exchange and currency in Morocco by “opening a bank account in the city of Melilla, with 225 euros ($ 290)”, again raises doubts of the sincerity of the Moroccan government in combating corruption, as well as the fairness of trials and the official stance regarding freedom of opinion and expression.

ان هذا المستشفى هو مرتع لكل انواع الفساد وسوء التسيير واهانة المواطنيين المغاربة وهو وصمة عار في جبين كل من عرف حجم الفساد والظلم وسكت انه مرتع للمتاجرة بقلوب واموال عائلات اشخاص محكوم عليهم بالموت ان حجم الفساد لم يتغير رغم عدة مراسلات ان هذا الواقع الفاسد لم يتغير بل ازداد وكمثال على ذلك ما تشدقت به احدى الممرضات وبتحد كبير *انا مخدماني الاميرة ومحايرة في حد* هذه الممرضة تعامل مرضى السرطان المحكوم عليهم بالموت بشكل لا يليق حتى بالحيوانات وكل من تكلم او احتج تنتقم منه باساليب مختلفة اما عن مدير المستشفى فقد تلقى مني شخصيا رسالة توضح وتتهم الممرضين بالفساد مشفوعة بالاتباتات والحجج ولم يحرك ساكنا لذلك اوجه ندائي الى كل الضمائر الحية بتسليط الضوء على الفساد الممارس بهذا المستشفى والى طلب دعم ومساندة الاشكال الاحتجاجية التي انا مقبل عليها بصفتي ابن سيدة مصابة بالسرطان والمتكفل ماديا بعلاجها حيث تعرضت مرارا لعملية نصب وحيث ان العديد من المرضى يعانون هم وذويهم دون وجود مخاطب داخل هذا المستشفى الفاسد البيروقراطي
الرسالة التي وجهتها الجمعية المغربية لحقوق الانسان منذ 3سنوات ولازالت الامور لم تتغير بل تفاقمت

Reminder concerning the status of hospital Moulay Abdallah cancer in Rabat

Greetings,
Mr. Minister,

Has been a reporter and your ministry on 20/07/2006 regarding the tragic situation experienced by the hospital Moulay Abdallah cancer in Rabat, which has reached a point can not be tolerated, as it was observed a large accumulation of patients in the corridors waiting for hours after taking appointments for treatment over the past weeks and months, some of these patients sleep in the open, outside the hospital because of the absence of family resources.

Also known for the hospital in recent days of deprivation of drinking water and hygiene so that many patients opt out of the residence to spend on their needs.

In addition, high prices, the treatment and the prevalence of manifestations of bribery between the nursing staff, and deprives patients of the drugs that are the hospital pharmacy and in goods which obscene pharmacies which is blackmail of patients, which directly affect the right to health and life that can not be waived.

Given this situation, serious known hospital Moulay Abdallah cancer, we urge you, Mr. Minister, to intervene urgently for the rehabilitation of this facility public.

لقد تمت مراسلة وزارتكم بتاريخ 20/07/2006 بخصوص الوضعية المأساوية التي يعيشها المستشفى مولاي عبد الله لداء السرطان بالرباط، والتي وصلت إلى درجة لا يمكن السكوت عليها، حيث لوحظ تكدس المرضى بشكل كبير في الأروقة منتظرين ساعات طوال بعد أخذهم مواعيد العلاج على مدى أسابيع وشهور، بعض هؤلاء المرضى يبيتون في العراء خارج المستشفى نظرا لغياب الأسرة الكافية.

كما عرف المستشفى في الأيام الأخيرة الحرمان من مياه الشرب والنظافة بحيث يلجأ المرضى إلى خارج إقامتهم من أجل قضاء حاجياتهم الخاصة.

إضافة إلى ذلك، ارتفاع أثمنة العلاج وتفشي مظاهر الارتشاء بين هيئة التمريض، وحرمان المرضى من الأدوية التي توجد بصيدلية المستشفى وغلائها الفاحش في الصيدليات مما يعد ابتزازا للمرضى، والتي تمس بشكل مباشر بالحق في الصحة والحياة الذي لا يمكن التنازل عنه.

وأمام هذه الوضعية الخطيرة التي يعرفها المستشفى مولاي عبد الله لداء السرطان، فإننا نطالبكم السيد الوزير، بالتدخل العاجل من أجل إعادة الاعتبار لهذا المرفق العمومي.
