al Motamar: Almotamar.net, Saba – Four al-Qaeda suspects, including a German and an Iraqi, stood trial on Monday at the state security court in Sana’a.

The defendants were accused of planning to carry out criminal acts against Yemeni and foreign interests and tourists in the country.

The defendants were two Yemenis; Badr Ahmed Al-Hassani and Saddam Ali Abdullah Saleh al-Rimi, a German; Rami Hens and an Iraqi; Abdullah Musaed al-Rawi.

At the first hearing, they were accused of participating in a criminal conspiracy to commit criminal acts and planning to target foreign tourists and interests as well as vital government and military installations in the country. They also were accused of training to use weapons and forming cells to carry out suicide attacks.

In the end of the hearing, the court decided to continue the case of the four al-Qaeda suspects on October 03.
